Woody & Chris: Dumb & Dumber

Jets fans, Chris Johnson has proven that he is as big or bigger of a buffoon than his brother Woody.

Reading the quotes of Chris Johnson's press conference the other day made me want to throw something through a wall. I don't know how I didn't, maybe it's because I'd like to get my security deposit back, but I was at that level of anger.

How can the now owner of the team stand there & say he has faith in a head coach who Mike Greenberg said this week, "Would be in over his head coaching a 5th grade team"? If Johnson was Pinocchio, his nose would have stretched across the entire room. It baffles me how he can think Gase is a good coach, HE SUCKS!

Also, how bad does it look that the owner has to have a press conference after one freakin' game & give the coach a vote of confidence? It's downright pathetic. Then he has the audacity to say Gase has a, "brilliant" offensive mind?!!? What in the world is this guy on? Has he paid attention to this offense the17 games Gase has coached it? IT'S HORRENDOUS. The offense ranked 31st last year out of 32 teams last year & they'll probably be 32 this year if Gase is around all season. This is a league where teams score 20+ points with ease & the Jets struggle every week to just score 20! But Gase has a "brilliant" mind, you're out of your mind Christopher!

And let me get to Gase for a second. WHAT A CLOWN! The fact that he could sit at a press conference & throw his 23 year old Franchise QB, that he is ruining, under the bus is disgraceful. Any owner with half a brain would of fired him on the spot, if not at the end of last year. Take some accountability Mr. "Offensive Genius", you are a pathetic excuse for a coach. This article is suppose to be about the Johnson's but I despise Gase so much that I had to bring him up. AHHHHH

All of this mess starts with older brother Woody Johnson though. Woody ran this team into the ground way before he became whatever ambassador he is overseas. He was more concerned about the back pages of the papers rather than building a winning franchise. Also, the structure of the front office is pathetic. What winning team has both the GM & HC report to the owner? You might as well just make your HC the GM too. There needs to be a hierarchy: HC goes to GM, GM goes to Owner, but that would make too much sense for good ol' Woody. Just like his brother, Woody is clueless when it comes to running a winning organization.

If you can't tell, I am extremely angry right now with Chris & Woody Johnson. I despise Gase, but I am angry at the Johnson Brothers. I am so sick & tired of hearing from them that there is, "No playoff mandate", & that they, "Like the direction the team is going in". The Jets haven't been to the playoffs in over a decade, how is there no mandate & how on earth do they think they're going in the right direction? The back to back AFC Title games feel like they were 25 years ago, that's how bad it's been since then. I thought we were going to get lucky when that report of Woody saying inappropriate things came out but of course that went away. Why can't the Jets be so lucky like the Clippers were when Adam Silver made Donald Sterling sell.

I can't believe I'm going off like this before game #2 has even been played, but that's how bad it's been already. The only thing that will save this team is if the Johnson's sell. Rumor is that they're strapped for cash, so maybe they may finally consider. Hey the Mets got out of the death grips of the Wilpon's, why not the Jets? Steve Cohen, if you somehow stumble upon this blog, do us Jets fans all a favor & buy the Jets. Or how about ARod & JLo? They may have missed out on the Mets, but why not use that money to buy the Jets? If they need more people involved, get Adam Sandler, Kevin James, & Ray Romano. I'm sure those three are just as tired of watching the Jets stink up MetLife just as much as I am. Anyone please but this team from the Johnson's, because as long as these buffoons are owning the team, there is ZERO hope. #TakeFlight
