Jets Fans, we finally saw a competent football team last night!!! For the first time this year the Jets were competitive throughout the entire game. It's pretty pathetic that it took 9 games for that to happen but hey, this is the Jets we are talking about. So let's get started on this weeks edition of, The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly.

These two had a nice connection going last night

The Good: There's actually a bunch this week.

1) Joe Flacco: In the wise words of PFT Commenter, "Is Joe Flacco Elite?". What a game from the veteran QB. Granted i'd rather see Sam Darnold or one of the two younger QB's out there, but at least Flacco played well last night. It definitely helps that he had actual WR's to throw to, but he was also making solid reads and placing the ball right in their hands. The TD to Jamison Crowder had a catch probability rate of 6.4%, pretty impressive. Flacco also did a solid job keeping the tank alive with his 4th quarter INT. Hopefully Darnold is back after the bye week, but if not, at least we now know that Flacco can make the offense watchable.

2) Breshad Perriman: Maybe hearing Joe Douglas say that he made a mistake letting Robby Anderson go lit a fire under him. What a game from Perriman after a horrific start to his season. He finished the night with a 5-101-2 while also drawing a big DPI to set up the Crowder TD. Perriman finally did his job of taking the top off of the defense & produced when the ball was thrown at him. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

3) Denzel Mims: I can't say enough about this guy. His final line was 4-62, which may not seem great, but you have to remember that he is already drawing opposing teams #1 CB in just his 3rd career game. You can tell that Mims is going to be something special. I for one am very excited.

4) Ashtyn Davis: The 3rd round pick had his best game of his young career last night. He was lined up all over the place, similar to how a certain Fake Prez was used last year. Davis really excelled working off the LOS & laid a HAMMER of a hit on Cam Newton which unfortunately was called due to "unneccessary roughness". Pretty lame call if you ask me, but it was still fun to see. Hopefully Davis continues to see an increase in his playing time.

5) Harvey Langi: Langi played like a man possessed last night. He was all over the field and did a solid job pressuring Cam all night. Yes he did miss two sacks on the same play against Cam, but he still managed to make the tackle 10 yards down the field. That shows both heart and hustle. Langi's final stat line was 10 tackles, which is solid for a usual reserve. I for one like him more than Neville Hewitt & I hope he continues to get more and more playing time.

Time for Desir to have a permanent spot on the bench

The Bad: Only one this week.

1) Pierre Desir: Desir's NFL career should be over after this season. He is an AWFUL CB & has no business being on the field. His attempted tackle last night in the 4th quarter was a disgrace to football & I don't get why he is still on the team. Rookies Bryce Hall, Lamar Jackson, & Javelin Guidry need to start seeing more playing time rather than Desir moving forward.

The face of the WORST coach in the NFL

The Ugly: The usual suspects.

1) Adam Gase: Again can someone explain to me what in fact Gase does during the game since he is no longer calling the offensive plays. Gase has no business being an NFL coach and he honestly has no point being a football coach at all either. He SUCKS simple as that.

2) The Johnson Brothers: SELL THE TEAM!

3) Peyton Manning: As always, this is your fault! I hate you.

The tank continues

Alright folks that's it for this week's edition of The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly. The Jets have a bye week coming up so we have a break from our beloved team. Again, I'm just happy that the Jets looked like a somewhat competent team last night. If the Jets ended up winning that game last time I would've blamed Bill Belichick for throwing the game to make sure the Jets don't get the #1 pick. Thankfully that did not happen & the #1 pick is still ours. With that being said, it would be nice if the Jaguars won another game or two so it's not a nail biter for the rest of the season. We should all be BIG time Jake Luton fans right now! I'll see you all soon & remember......... #TakeFlight

FIRE THIS BUM!!!!
